Meet Gaya Chandrasekaran

Gaya Chandrasekaran has nearly two decades of experience in corporate and investment banking across the UK and India. She spent 11 years at Santander in corporate banking, credit risk and investment banking. Her experience spans origination, structuring and risk oversight of complex financial products for corporates and financial institutions.

Her background combines front-office commercial deal-making with senior executive risk management. Having operated as both a corporate and investment banker and as Deputy Head of Wholesale Credit Risk, she brings an end-to-end perspective on institutional decision-making, from client origination through to balance sheet, risk and regulatory considerations.

How to work with me?

There are two primary ways institutions work with me:

Institutional Advisory & Execution

I work with financial institutions,
infrastructure providers, and technology
firms to translate strategy into
executable pathways.

Research & Strategic Insight

I provide targeted research and deep-dive
analysis on tokenisation, digital assets,
and the evolution of financial market
infrastructure.

"I stay close to implementation where it matters, ensuring that strategic direction translates into outcomes that can be delivered within institutional environments."

What Clients Say
"Gaya took ownership of one of the most complex regulatory deliverables we faced, coordinating across multiple systems and stakeholders to meet the PRA’s data requirements. What stood out was her ability to bring structure to a highly fragmented process and deliver under pressure. Her work was instrumental in ensuring we met a critical regulatory milestone."
